伊朗称将提出新一揽子方案与西方讨论
伊朗外长穆塔基星期六说，德黑兰正在准备提出一项“新的一揽子方案”。新方案
将很快就国际、政治和安全问题与西方世界进行会谈。伊朗总统艾哈迈迪内贾德在
5月总统竞选期间就提出这份一揽子建议。
梅德韦杰夫反导问题再发“重话”
俄罗斯总统德米特里 梅德韦杰夫１０日警告说，如果美国在导弹防御问题上无法与
俄罗斯达成协议，俄罗斯可能在与波兰接壤地区部署导弹。梅德韦杰夫去年１１月
发表国情咨文时宣布，俄罗斯将在靠近波兰的飞地加里宁格勒州部署短程战术导弹，
以反制美国计划部署在东欧的反导系统。
美中情局：切尼要求保守反恐机密
来自美国媒体的报道说，中央情报局局长在国会表示，前副总统切尼曾经直接下令
该机构，在2001年发生911事件后，不要将一项秘密的反恐项目告知众议院和参议院。
中央情报局在侦讯过程中使用水刑的做法已经在美国国会引发分歧。有议员批评中

美国窃听与监视计划无助防恐

英国皇家芭蕾舞团还特别推出首席舞蹈家阿科斯塔，他生在古巴，也在古巴习舞。
这家历史悠久的古典芭蕾舞团及其96名舞蹈家、数十名音乐家和其他员工星期五抵

日本将为冲绳美军搬迁关岛首付3.36亿美元
有关日方负担驻冲绳美海军陆战队搬迁关岛的部分经费一事，日本政府11日决定将
在2009年度内向美方支付首批3.36亿万美元，并已与美国政府就此交换了信函。日
本国会5月批准了日美有关美军搬迁关岛的协议。该协议规定日方最多负担28亿美元。
日本政府计划明年以后继续供资金。
新疆化工厂发生爆炸"非人为破坏"
发生在周日上午10时左右的这次爆炸是中石油乌鲁木齐石化分公司的一个成品油罐
爆炸起火。当地警方和消防局说，目前已经确定没有发生人员伤亡。灭火后经武警、
特警现场检查，基本排除人为原因。

专家预测日本秋季以后无法还房贷的人将增多
日本因公司加强裁员措施而收入大减、住房贷款还贷困难、不得不放弃梦寐以求的
住宅的事例正在不断涌现。据悉今年秋季后，日本无力偿还房贷的人数将会激增。
日本目前归还房贷的逾期率约为0.2%，处于正常范围之内。但日本的一家大型银行
认为“该数字正开始慢慢上升”。因房贷无法回收而导致银行经营困难的情况必然
会出现。第一生命经济研究所首席经济学家熊野英生说：“以地方银行为主逐渐出
现问题，将成为夺走金融界实力的结构性问题”，认为严峻的形势还将日益扩大。
Obama warns of long Afghan battle
Barack Obama has said the military offensive currently under way
against the Taliban in Afghanistan has "a long way to go". "We knew
this summer was going to be tough fighting ... we still have a long
way to go," Obama told Britain's Sky News channel in an interview on
Saturday.
Criticism of Afghan War Is on the Rise in Britain
Just as President Obama’s plan to sharply increase American troop
strength in Afghanistan gets into high gear, Britain’s involvement
in the war has come under the fiercest criticism yet at home as a
result of a steep increase in British casualties, including the
deaths of 15 soldiers in the past 10 days.

Political mayhem takes center stage in the UK following deadly
attacks on British troops in Afghanistan where soldiers are told to
fight an "unwinnable" war.
Voices of strife within the ruling Labor party have unified with the
opposition about the recent attacks on British military.
High-ranking Labor authorities have even blasted the government's
approach to the ongoing campaign in the southern Helmand province of
Afghanistan.
Leading British politicians from the Labor administration slammed
the British chief of general staff, General Sir Richard Dannatt, for
his recent remarks calling for an additional 2,000 forces to the
existing 9,000 in bid to stifle militancy around the
Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
David Crausby, Labor MP, in the defense committee of the British
parliament, criticized the General, accusing him of playing politics
in the wake of the recent Taliban militia assault that killed eight
soldiers in a single day, Britain's daily, the Times reported.
"General Dannatt has crossed an important line. He is playing a
high-risk game," he said.
Crausby said, "It is not appropriate to play party politics at this
time. Dannatt should just get on with the job. After the conflict,
if there are lessons to be learnt, we should do so in a considered
manner."
Leader of the Conservatives, David Cameron, said the government's
failure in the handling of the war has become a "scandal."
Israel-US F-35 deal 'targets Iran, Syria defense'
Israel's plans to buy US F-35 fighters indicate its desire to be
able to penetrate the Russian air defense systems Iran and Syria are
set to receive, a report says.
F-35 fighter aircraft can make the S-300 air defense systems
ineffective, as computer simulations have shown that the new US
stealth fighters outperform Russian missiles, Ria Novosti cited
officials in Tel Aviv as saying.
The F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), made by Lockheed Martin, is
expected to be one of the most-advanced fighter jets in the world,
said the Russian news agency, quoting a passage from a Jerusalem
Post article.
Last week, Tel Aviv forwarded an 'official request' for the F-35
stealth fighter jets to the US Department of Defense, hoping to
replace some of its older F-15 and F-16s with the new model.
Several days later there were reports that the two sides had reached
an 'understanding' over the purchase after some initial
disagreements.
The final price for the model, estimated at over $100 million, and
technical details of the deal still remain to be determined however.
According to the Post, Tel Aviv has asked the US to integrate
Israeli-made electronic warfare and communication systems into the
planes.
Israel also wants its own technicians to have the necessary training
to maintain the planes, if technical or structural problems occur.
Predictions are that the final contract will be signed in early 2010
with the US promising to deliver a third of the 75 estimated F-35
fighters to Israel by 2014.
According to the Israeli daily, Tel Aviv will try to purchase
another 50 US military aircraft in the future, some of them with
vertical take-off and landing capabilities.
This is while a version of the F-35 that is already on the Israeli
buying list can carry out short takeoffs and vertical-landings.
Despite efforts by Israel and its ally the US to thwart Iran's S-300
air defense system deal with Russia, Moscow has announced that it is
committed to the contract.
The latest version of the S-300 family is thought to be one of the
world's most effective all-altitude air defense systems.
The S-300PMU2 Favorit, which is comparable to the US MIM-104 Patriot
system, has a range of up to 195 and can intercept aircraft and
ballistic missiles at altitudes of 10 meters to 27 kilometers.
